POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, GSM, Launch Strategy and Excellence will be a part of the J&J MedTech Vision Global Strategic Marketing Team and will have responsibility for supporting the commercial launch excellence strategy, project management of critical commercial launch-related processes, globally led commercial initiatives and advancing ways of working to accelerate strategy execution and cross-functional/regional engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 relevant business experience is required.
  • Experience managing high profile projects and/or processes is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the following functions: product development, new product management, marketing, or related function is required.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills are required.
  • Product launch experience is required.
  • Mindset for continuous improvement and implementing best practices is required.
  • Having a strategic mindset and the ability to develop plans and roadmaps is essential.
  • Healthcare industry experience is required.
  • Up to 15% business travel may be required.
    The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000.
    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
    Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
    Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year.
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.

Responsibilities
  • Launch Strategy Development & Excellence
  • Support the Director of Launch Strategy & Excellence in development & execution of strategic plans for successful product launches, ensuring efficient, effective and consistent processes.
  • Understand stakeholder and customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform and optimize product launches.
  • Create structure and advance governance of new product launch timing and cadence, pipeline prioritization, launch excellence (including commercialization plans and limited market release/post-launch metrics), ongoing portfolio management (including pricing, life cycle management), and integrated resource planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align launch strategies with overall business goals.
  • Project Management
  • Project management of commercial processes including developing strategic plans, facilitating senior leadership portfolio reviews, and creation of financial (long range financial plan, mid-term plan, business plan) and demand forecasts to support decision making.
  • Drive Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
  • Drive operational excellence throughout the product launch lifecycle (pre-launch, launch & post-launch), identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices with cross-functional partnership of R&D, Supply Chain and the Regions.
  • Team & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Foster teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within team, between teams and other groups.
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional and regional teams
  • Act as a liaison between different departments, facilitating smooth communication and coordination.
