Fiskars Group Treasury team is looking for a professional and experienced candidate for the position of
Senior manager, Group risk management
We offer an interesting role in a company with high branded product portfolio and inspiring working environment. Group Treasury and risk management is a small team supporting Fiskars’ business in treasury, risk management and internal audit topics. In our team you can use your strengths and skills and develop your competences in a truly international organization. We support each other and collaborate closely with other Fiskars teams.
Senior manager, Group risk management is responsible for Group insurances and development of Group risk management. The Senior manager also participates in and supports the internal audit function together with VP, Group treasury and risk management. He/she will be collaborating with stakeholders working in Fiskars Finance community and with people responsible for risk management globally. Discussion partners in the internal audit work may involve a large variety of colleagues in Fiskars Group.
You recommend, develop and implement ways of working that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability, with strong focus on harmonized Fiskars way of working.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- enterprise wide risk management activities including development of risk identification, assessment, control and reporting processes
- development and maintenance of risk management tools and systems
- global insurance programs including renewal of agreements, claims management and relations with insurers and brokers
- planning and conducting risk surveys including factory surveys
We expect the ideal candidate to have:
- Master’s Degree in Finance or corresponding
- +5 years of relevant experience in a role including risk management responsibilities
- readiness to utilize tools frequently used in finance
- fluent English and Finnish skills.
With your analytical and proactive mindset, you have proven ability to manage with competing priorities and strong adherence to keeping set timetables. You have continuous drive for development, but also for maintaining certain existing, routine tasks and processes consistently in the background. Your attitude is entrepreneurial, completing tasks in spite of hardships. You like working in a changing environment and are able to handle change.
You see the big picture but also do not lose attention to detail where it matters and have an organized way of working. You are capable of working independently, but also a team player who builds trust among people across geographies and organizations, also cross-functionally in a matrix environment. You are willing to provide support for the organization in learning new tasks and implementing new processes.
This role will be based at our HQ in Espoo, Finland.
