Job Description Get to Know the Team The Group Sustainability Team leads ESG at the Group level, covering Grab's various entities and operating markets. We work cross-functionally to embed sustainability into operations, governance, and disclosures — supporting resilient, responsible growth. Get to Know the Role You will lead the production of our annual ESG disclosures and public sustainability reports, ensuring all data is accurate, audit-ready, and aligned with IFRS S1/S2 and GRI standards. You will coordinate submissions to ESG rating agencies and manage responses to external auditors and investor inquiries. You will also identify and implement digital tools to automate data collection and validation processes, working with Finance, Legal, and business units to ensure consistent data methodologies across the organization. This is a fully onsite role and will report to the Head of Group Sustainability. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Strategic Disclosure & Production: Own the full lifecycle of ESG reporting — from narrative development to production — shaping Grab’s reporting posture across the Group amid evolving regulations and ensuring alignment with C-Suite and Board expectations. Assurance & Governance Excellence: Drive enterprise-wide audit readiness, strengthening internal controls and overseeing third-party assurance across material ESG metrics. ESG Rating Strategy: Oversee engagement with ESG rating agencies (e.g. MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP), ensuring accurate representation and identifying strategic levers to enhance Grab’s sustainability profile. Strategic Value Integration: Lead enterprise ESG risk and impact assessments (including IFRS S1/S2-aligned frameworks and Climate Scenario Analysis), translating findings into clear financial and strategic implications for management and Board reporting. Digital & Ecosystem Innovation: Define and advance the roadmap for AI-enabled and technology-driven solutions that embed ESG into business operations and unlock scalable, long-term value. Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need 5+ years experience producing ESG disclosures and sustainability reports for publicly listed companies or large corporate entities, with direct responsibility for drafting content aligned to IFRS S1/S2 and GRI standards. Experience managing third-party assurance audits, including establishing internal controls and documentation protocols for limited or reasonable assurance engagements. Working knowledge of ESG rating agency platforms (MSCI, Sustainalytics, CDP) with experience managing annual submission timelines and data accuracy requirements. Experience implementing digital reporting tools, data automation software, or AI-assisted analytics platforms to streamline ESG data collection and validation processes. Ability to present complex ESG data and financial risk analysis to senior executives and board members, evidenced by prior experience preparing materials for C-Suite or Board-level review. Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Change Management: Proven capability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of ESG policies, programmes, and process changes.
