In this senior leadership role, you’ll shape and deliver brand building and performance led media and acquisition campaigns that influence awareness, consideration, conversion and join outcomes across multiple channels.   Operating in a highly regulated and competitive environment, you’ll bring strong commercial acumen, deep experience in media and campaign delivery, and a proven ability to turn strategy into results. You’ll work closely with the Head of Brand & Growth Marketing and senior stakeholders across the organisation to build alignment, drive execution and elevate marketing effectiveness.   An essential part of this role will be collaborating with creative, media and event agency partners to ensure work is delivered on-time, on-budget and to a high-standard.   Provide strong, effective leadership to the direct growth team, setting clear direction, priorities and performance expectations aligned to organisational growth objectives. Build and lead a high‑performing, engaged team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.     Key relationships include but are not limited to * Own and deliver direct channel growth outcomes, with clear accountability for acquisition volume, cost efficiency, and conversion performance. * Design and execute integrated acquisition strategies across paid, owned and earned media, optimising channel mix to maximise return on investment. * Establish clear success metrics for all activity, regularly tracking, reporting and optimising performance to deliver continuous uplift. * Lead the end-to-end delivery of direct acquisition campaigns, ensuring speed to market, quality execution and alignment to the Brand promise. * Partner with cross functional teams to simplify and optimise acquisition journeys, reducing friction and improving join completion and satisfaction metrics. * Translate business strategy and growth targets into actionable, prioritised marketing plans with clear performance trade-offs. * Actively manage budgets to deliver outcomes within financial guardrails, balancing short-term performance with long-term capability building. * Use data and insight to inform decisions, clearly articulating the commercial impact, risks and benefits of proposed initiatives. * Build, lead and develop a high performing growth marketing team with strong capability across media, campaign development and performance optimisation.   What You’ll Need    * Min 10 years in similar role with relevant industry experience (superannuation, financial services or other highly regulated environments) * Degree qualification in commerce, business, marketing or similar * Proven experience in a fast-paced, performance-orientated business, demonstrating ability to translate marketing activities into tangible business and performance outcomes * Experience in delivering large-scale brand repositioning initiatives and leading the associated organisational change required for successful implementation * Demonstrated background in operating with large, global brands  * Strong experience leading agencies and delivery partners, setting clear performance expectations, driving accountability and continuously lifting creative and media effectiveness while ensuring value for investment * Strong and effective people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build, lead and develop high performing marketing teams     Life at AustralianSuper  AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
