Description
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, the Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs should adhere to the Corporate Affairs strategy to facilitate and steer positive relationship building and management with the local government, officials and related organizations to enhance corporate reputation and awareness in the mainland and among industry peers.   Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain on-going relationships with local government and officials at provincial, city, and district levels to mitigate issues, gain support and/or promote the company’s business and positive exposures. Monitor policy changes that might impact on the industry and business operations and provide intelligence, insights and advice to the company. Provide guidance and facilitate internal teams on government communications and collaborations. Travel as required to meet with government officials and attend relevant meetings or events.   Job Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or above in communication, public relations, political science, international relations or equivalent disciplines. 10 years of extensive government affairs experience in sizable, listed, or multinational corporations is preferred. In-depth familiarity and insights into government processes and regulatory landscape in China. Solid network with local government officials and agencies at Provincial, City  and District levels.  Fluency in Chinese and English. Excellent Chinese written skills required. Excellent communication skills, can-do spirit, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
