ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, HR Consulting to lead a team of HR Consultants and Officers in delivering high quality HR advice and support to leaders and managers across the University. This role also has leadership of the Academic Promotions team who are responsible for the annual academic promotions process within the University. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee team performance, ensure effective workload and workforce management, and drive a consistent, high-quality HR experience for clients university-wide.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • lead the HR Consulting team in the delivery of effective, accurate HR support and advice to University managers
  • lead the Academic Promotions Unit in the delivery of an effective, coordinated, and compliant annual promotions process
  • drive pro-active collaboration across HR partnering and with HR centres of expertise to embed ways of working and support delivery of consistent and accurate HR advice
  • reinforce a cycle of continuous improvement opportunities in relation to performance lifecycle, utilising data and metrics reporting
  • develop solutions to support operationalising HR governance and compliance related activity
