JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, HR Business Partners (SMHRBP) is a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders, with a heavy emphasis on workforce planning, data-driven decision-making, and leadership guidance. The SMHRBP will lead a team of HR Business Partners and drive initiatives that align people strategy with business objectives, enabling scale and sustained growth.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field -OR- equivalent experience required.
  • SHRM-CP and/or (S)PHR certification is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience managing HR teams in a multi-state or national organization.
  • Previous experience working with senior leaders and executives to drive HR initiatives and organizational changes.
  • Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
  • Proven experience navigating legal matters regarding sensitive employment related issues
  • Ability to interpret data and tie it to actions and outcomes
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor the HRBP team to provide consultative support to business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and change management.
  • Partner with CPO, senior leadership, and Talent leader to align HR strategies with business goals, supporting growth, scalability, and a positive employee experience.
  • Keep the executive team informed on complex employee relations and organizational development matters.

Workforce Planning & Analytics

  • Lead workforce planning to help inform the right roles to support the business and its future vision; partner with Talent team to ensure talent pipelines exist within the organization.
  • Use HR analytics and reporting to drive data-informed decisions; identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to align headcount planning with budgets and forecasts.

Leadership Guidance

  • Coach and develop leaders to strengthen their management capabilities and ensure high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Provide counsel on organizational effectiveness, leadership alignment, and change management.

Talent & Performance Management

  • Support succession planning, high-potential identification, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Support the performance management cycle, ensuring fairness, consistency, and accountability.

Culture, Engagement, and Inclusion

  • Champion company values and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Support initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and a positive work environment.
