We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Human Resources Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Assisting the Director of Human Resources in formulating and implementing strategies and policies that align with the University’s and the Office’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives; Building a roadmap for long-term digital strategies to modernize HR services and enhance overall efficiency; Overseeing the operation, enhancement and development of all HR-related systems, including translating user requirements into technical specifications, proposing solutions, safeguarding data integrity and access control, ensuring system reliability, responding promptly to system interruptions or failures, etc.; Exploring and implementing new HR applications and system enhancements to optimize HR processes and improve workflow effectiveness; Conducting user training and maintaining systematic documentation of key configurations and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity; Leading a team to deliver HR services and advice to Schools/Offices, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and University policies; Providing professional administrative and secretarial support to committees and meetings, including preparing papers, analysis, reports, etc.; Overseeing the handling of employee cases involving complaints, grievances and disciplinary matters, as well as addressing inquiries and concerns related to data privacy and equal opportunities; and Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful implementation of HR policies and initiatives across the University. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: Bachelor's degree, preferably a higher degree, in Computing, Information Systems, or a related field; Strong proficiency in managing HR Systems and up-to-date knowledge of new applications and technologies, industry trends and legislations; Substantial relevant experience in leading system development / enhancement / integration / upgraded projects and driving changes; Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical data-driven decision making, communication and interpersonal skills; Substantial relevant experience in a leadership role with exposure in a higher education setting; and Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders at all levels.
