Senior Manager, IAM Services

Corporate Center in Hydro is mainly located at Vækerø and has around 260 employees within the areas of Finance, People & Safety, Legal and Compliance, Communication & Public Affairs and Corporate Development.
The IAM Services Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring that authorized users have the right access to company systems, data, and applications. Manages both the technical, infrastructure team of IAM services and the Identity Governance Administration function and addresses the compliance requirements of his/her organization by ensuring the appropriate processes that support regulations and company policies are in place and enforced.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS POSITION:

• Development and implementation of the IAM program: Design processes, procedures, and work instructions, ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Access management: Administer user access to systems, applications, and data while monitoring compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Collaboration and risk management: Work with business and technology teams to develop and maintain IAM policies and standards, and lead discussions on risk mitigation strategies for non-compliance.
• Incident management and training: Handle security incidents, recommend corrective actions, and train users on relevant policies and procedures.
• Active Directory maintenance: Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the Active Directory environment, and manage escalation and resolution of issues.
• Improvement and governance of IAM processes: Drive continuous improvement of risk-based access control processes, including automation and performance tracking.
• Stakeholder and vendor management: Manage relationships with customers, stakeholders, and vendors; set requirements (KPI/SLA) and follow up on deliveries.
• Reporting and organizational management: Oversee senior management reporting and ensure the IAM team is staffed with the right capacity and skill set to deliver high-quality services.

DESIRED COMPETENCIES TO ENJOY THE ROLE:

• Minimum of seven years’ experience in IAM. Developing, implementing and/or architecting IAM systems, directory service, active directory, Azure active directory, LDAP, and cloud-based identities.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience managing a team.
• Experience in gathering requirements, documenting, and assessing information for implementing information security policies and standards is required.
• Experience and advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and risk and compliance requirements.
• Experience and working knowledge of cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), IT infrastructure, IAM solutions, network, compute, storage, and security technologies to guide in the preparation of related recovery procedures. Financial industry regulatory experience a plus (FFIEC, FDIC, OCC, SOC, SOX).
• Experience recruiting and leading technical teams, including performance management.
• Two or more years of experience in working in the manufacturing industry.
• Two or more years of demonstrated experience in liaising with middle and senior management of a large commercial enterprise.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, engineering, business, management, or a related field.
