The Role
To manage a team to deliver the global insurance premium tax (IPT) compliance process and IPT technical support for the Lloyd’s Market.
The role has a focus on premium taxes in relation to the Lloyd’s Market (Syndicates/Managing Agents) which has responsibility for proving high quality and timely technical support and guidance to the Market in relation to premium taxes, delivering 800+ premium tax returns (with a value of £0.75bn+) globally per year and working with the UK and overseas tax authorities to resolve audits and enquiries on the Market’s behalf. This role holder is the key point of contact for the Lloyd’s Market in relation to any premium tax issues.
