Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Industrial Partnerships to join our team in driving large-scale partnerships and advancing our offering for industrial decarbonization projects.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We believe that large-scale industrial decarbonization in the Nordics wont happen automatically- it requires our active collaboration with clients. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling customer driven growth and supporting industries in their decarbonization journey.
In this role, you will analyze complex challenges, develop strategic solutions, and engage with key stakeholders. Success requires a deep understanding of the Nordic energy market, as well as strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. You will also need excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build and maintain impactful partnerships.
This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the leading industrial decarbonization projects in the Nordics, such as Fortum’s energy partnership with Arctial.
The location of the role is either in Espoo, Finland or Solna, Sweden. We work in a hybrid model.

In the job you are expected to:

  • Drive customer interactions for selected large scale industrial clients, such as Clean metals or e-Fuels, to support electrification projects with Fortum offering on PPAs, Renewables, Flexibility and Hydrogen.
  • Create commercial models and offerings fit for customer needs. You will be responsible for the overall offering and growth business cases for selected customers and partners including internal project coordination, offering and product development, financial modelling and conceptual ownership of the case.
  • Coordinate complex negotiations with customers for long sales-cycle industrial projects, such as large-scale combined PPA offerings or wider investments and cooperations such as in new nuclear partnerships.

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Academic degree in engineering, finance or business administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a relevant role (preference for energy or infrastructure focus)
  • Experienced project leader with a track record of delivering large and complex projects and ensuring their commercial viability
  • Strong understanding of investment proposals, risks and benefits and commercialization aspects
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Self-driven, pro-active and ability to work independently while fostering collaboration
  • Exceptional networking and collaboration skills
  • Fluent and confident English communication skills, Finnish and/or Swedish is a plu
