Overview We are hiring a Senior Manager of International Tax planning responsible for analyzing, implementing, and managing tax strategies for a multinational company to optimize its global tax position while ensuring appropriate reporting and compliance with various international tax laws. How you'll make an impact Collaborate with outside advisors to develop and implement international tax planning strategies for internal restructuring, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations. Research, analyze, and model the impact of potential tax legislation to inform strategic decisions. Write technical tax research memos and compile supporting documentation for various tax technical positions which are not covered by external advice for material, complex transactions. Review external technical advice, including facts, assumptions and management representations upon which such advice relies. Engage with M&A team members, including structuring acquisitions and integrating new entities. Coordinate both implementation and maintenance with Treasury and Accounting departments on cross-border intercompany funding, leverage planning, and repatriation strategies. Support transfer pricing resources with background on planning transactions and data to ensure appropriate and timely support for arm’s length analysis where necessary. Maintain an understanding of global tax developments and analyze/communicate their potential impact on the business. Demonstrate strong technical background in international tax issues such as GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, OECD Pillar 2, and tax treaties. Manage large-scale, cross-functional teams to coordinate understanding, buy-in and implementation assistance for international transactions the extent there are inherent international tax implications inherent therein Organize & review supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness for significant international transactions Demonstrate leadership potential and solid communication skills About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 8 years related experience required. Experience General Experience: A minimum of 7 to 12 years of Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or within a large multinational corporation's tax department is preferred. International Tax Focus: 5+ years of experience should be specifically focused on international tax consulting and compliance with at least 3 years in a manger role. Education and Certifications Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field or JD Preferred Education: MST or LLM degrees are preferred for enhancing qualifications and credibility. Preferred professional qualifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or licensure #LI-PF1 #LI-Hybrid Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package.
