You will step into a senior specialist role that shapes how Westpac shows up for its people and their representatives every day. You will be part of the Industrial Relations Strategy and Advice team in Workplace Relations, within the broader People function. You will work closely with senior leaders and People partners to bring our industrial relations strategy to life, translating complex issues into clear, practical pathways. You will provide trusted advice on industrial instruments, disputes, major workplace change, industrial relations risks and enterprise programs, and you will play a key part in initiatives like enterprise bargaining and engagement with the Finance Sector Union. You will build strong relationships across the business and with union officials so that issues are managed early, constructively and with a focus on sustainable outcomes. What do I need? Deep knowledge of Australian industrial relations frameworks, instruments and dispute resolution in a complex environment. Experience giving clear, practical advice on industrial issues, policies and industrial instruments to a range of stakeholders. A track record of working constructively with employee organisations, including union officials, to deliver shared outcomes. Confidence leading or contributing to major change, enterprise bargaining and other bank wide initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build trust quickly and work collaboratively across teams. Why join us?
