Job Description To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Manager – IT located in Chennai location. Senior Manager will be integral part of Flex Future Factory initiative, providing specialized support during pilot deployments of digital solutions across manufacturing sites. They work closely with Solution Architects (SAs), Solution Managers (SMs), and Global Capability Owners (GCOs) to ensure successful integration, testing, and Supporting the technologies & Applications being developed Reporting to the Senior Director, and the role involves: What a typical day looks like: Lead & Manage the team of people handlign Support & Deployment of Flex future applications. Strategize pilot deployments mechanism & establish a robust, Scalable process to roll out across sites. Monitor tickets logged through the Standard SNC model for the Flex factory ARCH applications Determine whether issues can be resolved via configuration changes or require deeper code fixes Coordinate with Vendor Teams and communicate timelines to GCO and Site users. Investigate production logs, error traces, and user-reported symptoms Compile RCA reports and recommend preventive measures Manage Team of 6-10 persons in handling daily support issues related to Factory applications & perform Deployments of newly built applications across sites. Monitor & drive daily support tickets & bring innovations in terms of building automated tool sets to improve efficiency. Closely working with Vendors supporting the applications & tracking their KPI metrics continuously for improvements. Support pilot deployments at 1–4 sites, including configuration, migration, testing and training of Manufacturing & Quality based applications Conduct end-to-end test runs & Integration tests for the sprint releases to validate the systems prior deployment Create deployment playbooks explaining step-by-step instructions to be considered as pre-deployment & deployment activities Document best practices and onboard new engineers to standardized tools and procedures Collaborate with GI (Global Implementation) to handover the deployment playbooks, activities & learnings from Pilot sites. Provide Constructive feedback to improve Solutions during and post pilot deployments. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in IT or related fields. 12-15Yrs of proven experience in IT MES / Factory Applications - 10+ year of Exp Implementation / Deployment Experience Have lead a team - Managing Support or Deployment activities (Min 2-3 yrs of exp) Good to have ERP & Quality Process understanding What you’ll receive for the great work you provide: Health Insurance Paid Time Off NK99 Job Category IT Flex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.
