Description Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and management of our enterprise technology environment. You will oversee a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators, ensuring our networks, servers, cloud platforms, and security systems deliver the reliability and performance that healthcare operations demand. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set strategy while staying close to the technical details. Why This Role Matters Healthcare revenue cycle operations run on technology. When infrastructure is reliable, claims process on time, teams stay productive, and patient data remains secure. Your leadership will directly impact uptime, security posture, and the ability of hundreds of team members to do their work without interruption. You will be the person who ensures the technology foundation is solid enough to support everything built on top of it. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, including network engineers, systems administrators, and cloud specialists Design and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness Develop and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business growth and technology modernization goals Oversee network architecture, server management, storage systems, and virtualization platforms Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 security requirements across all infrastructure systems Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and managed services, negotiating contracts and SLAs Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to maintain 99.9%+ uptime targets Drive infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption to improve efficiency and reduce manual operations Manage IT budgets, forecast capacity needs, and optimize infrastructure spending Collaborate with application development, security, and data teams to support cross-functional technology initiatives Requirements Required Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems engineering 5+ years in a management or team lead role overseeing infrastructure teams Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, hybrid cloud architectures, and migration strategies Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (VPN, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, VLAN) Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration in enterprise environments Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, and healthcare compliance requirements for IT infrastructure Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, budgets, and infrastructure projects end-to-end Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical strategies to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or regulated industries Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent) Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) Experience with zero-trust security architectures and identity management (Azure AD, Entra ID) ITIL certification or experience with IT service management frameworks What Success Looks Like In 90 days: You have completed a full infrastructure audit, established relationships with key stakeholders, and identified the top three reliability or security improvements to prioritize In 6 months: You have delivered measurable improvements to uptime or incident response times, implemented at least one infrastructure automation initiative, and built a team development plan Ongoing: Infrastructure operates at 99.9%+ availability, your team consistently delivers projects on time, and you are a trusted advisor to leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions
