The Senior Manager, Language Services, is a member of the department’s senior staff and is responsible for contributing ideas into the overall management and well-being of the department, proactively identifying new service areas, business opportunities and/or solutions for our clients, growing revenue, serving as a mentor to Manager and Team Lead staff and consistently identifying and implementing new ways to improve the quality of department work, revenue per FTE, and job satisfaction for staff.
Senior Managers are expected to specialize in multiple functions (i.e. project management, client management, resource/vendor management, business development, financial management, technology, risk management), be proficient in all aspects of the business they lead and related departments and be able to lead multiple complex teams.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Developing and implementing patient care service strategies that align with clinical trial objectives and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations and regulatory, to ensure comprehensive patient support throughout the trial process.
  • Monitoring patient feedback and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Building relationships with healthcare providers and patient advocacy groups to enhance support and engagement for trial participants.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in patient care to drive innovation within ICON’s patient services.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Significant experience in patient care services or clinical operations, ideally within the healthcare or clinical research sectors.
  • Strong understanding of patient engagement strategies and regulatory considerations in clinical trials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform patient care initiatives and decision-making.
