On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Manager, Learning and HR Initiatives for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR MANAGER, LEARNING AND HR INITIATIVES - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role involves supporting and developing talent and learning strategies to enhance the Bank’s Cloud Acceleration Program (CAP). The project focuses on driving organizational effectiveness and workforce development through strategic HR initiatives and learning programs.

SENIOR MANAGER, LEARNING AND HR INITIATIVES - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 5-8 years of experience in talent and learning strategies in a corporate environment.
  • 5-8 years of project management and execution skills for HR initiatives.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • 5 years of experience as an HRBP or HR consultant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to strategically influence and persuade leaders.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

SENIOR MANAGER, LEARNING AND HR INITIATIVES – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Degree, certificate, or designation in adult learning.
  • CHRP designation.
  • Understanding of the Bank’s business strategy.
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms or technology transformation initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen and client partnership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop strategies to support Cloud Talent & Learning plans.
  • Participate in planning and discussions with business area leaders.
  • Provide strategic insights and solutions to meet program priorities.
  • Execute learning programs and collaborate for successful deployment.
  • Utilize HR data to identify trends and track program success metrics.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors for strategy enhancement.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to day-to-day business controls and compliance risks.
