Description
The Legal team provides value add by: Defining, implementing and/or maintaining legal policies and guidelines for VISHAY organization or assigned entities. Setting and maintaining the standard for business contracts, NDA, framework agreements, delivery and development agreements, from legal perspective. Providing legal advice to board executives and/or management on matters with significant legal risk (e.g. M&A transactions, cooperation contracts, and others). Ensuring or leading legal treatment of regulatory manners, third party disputes, litigation matters and legal processes (e.g. claims escalation management, court cases, government agency inquires, etc..). Leading selection and/or monitoring performance of outside counsel services. Overseeing planning and execution of legal IP training, for all relevant target groups A manager at this level: Advises business or function management in assessing and evaluating tactical opportunities or operational risks. Takes over (global) implementation projects for functional guidelines, according to the specifications agreed. Sets up the team structure monitor progress of assigned work, cases or claims managed by individual team member. Takes over claims and cases, consults with external advisors or contacts with authorities to manage and settle the cases. Vishay helps the world’s most in-demand technologies come to life.
