KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Review and approve applications and proposals from listed issuers, presenting decisions to company management and their advisors (including auditors and legal counsel)
  • Draft detailed memos summarizing applications, key issues, waiver requests, and providing analysis and recommendations
  • Reviewing legal and title opinions, verifying their adherence to securities laws while also ensuring they meet all professional standards
  • Prepare and send formal correspondence to listed issuers and official bulletins to market participants
  • Efficiently manage and execute the end-to-end processing of issuer filings to meet all regulatory deadlines
  • Ensure client compliance with all TSXV listing rules by providing a solutions-oriented and client-focused approach
  • Liaise with the Exchange’s Compliance and Disclosure staff
  • Provide guidance to the public, listed companies, and their advisors
  • Carry out special assignments, public speaking engagements, and participate in Exchange workshops and the TMX Learning Academy
  • Actively participate in relationship management activities with lawyers, investment bankers, and other capital market stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate billing of fees and the timely collection of fees on assigned submissions
