We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations to join our Large Power Systems team to support Caterpillar large engine production at our Kiel facility. What You Will Do: Build, lead and engage a Manufacturing Operations organization to establish a world-class manufacturing facility. Direct all aspects of manufacturing operations for the facility in order to produce cost-effective, timely and high-quality products in a safe and secure working environment. Manage development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives. Direct development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and employee performance of scheduled work activities to achieve established operating goals. Oversee programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training employees that perform and support the facility operations. Maintain and build positive employee relations and an inspiring work environment. What You Have (Key Skills/Experience Required): Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in manufacturing operations Strong understanding of manufacturing safety practices and requirements Proven expertise in relevant standards, procedures, and policies governing manufacturing environments Quality management Budgeting Analytical thinking Performance management Employee relations Proficiency both in English and in German (spoken and written) What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills): Engineering or technical degree combined with extensive experience in the field Previous Experience of Manufacturing Large Engines What You Will Get: Varied, responsible, and challenging tasks Excellent earning opportunities according to the Caterpillar compensation system 30 days of vacation Company pension plan Bicycle leasing / job ticket Additional Information: We are back!
