Description
As a Senior Manager - Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of B2B businesses and how to build awareness around Wesco’s products, services, and solutions to satisfy business’ needs. You will coach and mentor a marketing team who will execute day-to-day marketing activities, deliver quality work, meet deadlines, and be responsive to changing business needs. You will develop creative marketing strategies and fulfill execution plans. Responsibilities: Develop a strong marketing team. Manage and coordinate marketing activities for assigned strategic business units or areas, spanning market intelligence, customer engagement, sales enablement, market awareness, and demand generation. Develop, manage and measure marketing campaigns in collaboration with other marketing and business leaders, including evaluation of marketing plans and development of strategies to respond to changing market and competitive conditions. Support strategic relationships and co-operative marketing programs with key suppliers, setting priorities, resolving issues, managing funding, and ensuring proper resourcing. Utilize Wesco’s project management systems to ensure programs are completed on time and on budget and communicate results, best practices, and successes. Understand and interpret customer and sales data to identify opportunities in market and drive profitable sales growth. Research new marketing approaches, products, services, and solutions to identify future growth opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree – Marketing or Business Administration required; Masters Degree - Business Administration, Marketing Communications, Advertising, or Marketing preferred 8+ years experience in product or field marketing 5+ years experience in strategic business planning 2+ years experience in a business to business (B2B) industry Experience in recruiting, developing and managing on-site and remote personnel Strong digital skills, creativity and entrepreneurial drive Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytics skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to influence others, meet deadlines, and deliver results Ability to navigate complex matrix businesses 5+ years experience in marketing with a Fortune 500 company preferred Industry knowledge, including suppliers, customers, and competitors preferred Ability to travel up to 25% This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
