Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Manager - MEP Mechanical Engineer - Residential to lead mechanical engineering initiatives specifically within residential projects. This unique role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure the successful delivery of innovative and efficient mechanical systems designed for residential communities. As the Senior Manager in this position, you will oversee all aspects of mechanical engineering for residential developments, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and water systems. You will lead a talented team of engineers, collaborating closely with architects and project managers to design sustainable and high-quality mechanical solutions that enhance the living experience of future residents. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and execution of mechanical systems for residential projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical design processes from concept through to construction, including detailed design, shop drawing approval, and installation oversight. Guide and mentor the engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional development. Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, structural teams, and external consultants to ensure integrated project delivery. Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry best practices. Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for mechanical engineering activities on residential projects. Promote health and safety standards in all engineering practices and project workflows. Engage in regular communication with project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues related to mechanical engineering. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems for residential projects. Demonstrated expertise in the design and management of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems specific to residential buildings. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams effectively. In-depth knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and industry practices relevant to residential mechanical engineering. Proficient in using engineering design software and tools to create accurate designs and documentation. Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering teamwork across diverse groups. A proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage project timelines and deliver high-quality results. Commitment to sustainability and innovation in mechanical engineering solutions.
