EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field/equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

EXPERIENCE

  • 12 to 15 years’ experience of leading the deployment/management of D365 F&O.
  • Experience with digital transformation programs.
  • Experience in data analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong background in partnering with the business leaders, change managers and leading strategies that create a high-performance culture.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Experience in large publicly listed organisations – preferably SOX compliant.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

  • The Microsoft dynamics 365 F&O senior manager provides strategic and tactical expertise for the global operation of the application, which was implemented by IHS in 2016.
  • This role is responsible for advising on industry best practices, leading engagements with the business for an end-to-end project lifecycle from the discovery, implementation to post go-live support of all D365 F&O capabilities/functionalities.
  • This role is also responsible for the development of a framework and architecture of optimal solutions to meet the dynamic and evolving needs of the organisation, ensuring there is an alignment between business objectives and D365 F&O application functionality.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and execution of full cycle D365 F&O implementations in new markets or expansions in existing markets.
  • Partner with the business leaders to design and implement automated and optimal processes and data-driven initiatives that enhance the current capability of our D365 F&O application.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations on key finance, supply chain and procurement, fixed assets and inventory, human resources management processes in Microsoft D365 F&O.
  • Collaborate with business operations and IT teams to understand business needs, define requirements for system modifications, enhancements, and strategic implementations, and translate these into system solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on D365 F&O large scale functional implementations, solution architecture, upgrade and integration to other applications within the IHS applications portfolio.
  • Lead projects and initiatives that maintain and improve upon the overall systems maturity journey of IHS.
  • Lead the day-to-day operational support of D365 F&O standard and ISV solutions in collaboration with the OEM(Microsoft) and technical implementation partner.
  • Take full product ownership and mentor the team of D365 F&O technical and functional consultants
  • Manage the relationship with the OEM(Microsoft) for the optimisation of storage, user licenses, cloud environments and other system resources.
  • Manage budget and capacity planning for the D365 F&O platform and supporting team.
  • Support the operation of SOX and IT governance and control frameworks.
