(Senior) Manager: Module Shop Disassembly Assembly Manager
The Module Shop Manager ensures operational readiness of the Compressor, Turbine and Machine Shop area in alignment with OEM, regulatory, and customer requirements. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency and quality improvements, in accordance with the company quality, environmental, health & safety policy.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience
  • 7 + years of experience in engine MRO operations, with a focus on disassembly and assembly
  • Proven leadership experience in managing engine maintenance teams
  • Strong understanding of OEM manuals, regulatory compliance (FAA, EASA, AS9100), and engine maintenance best practices
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MRO software, ERP systems, and digital work instructions
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, lean manufacturing, and process optimization
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with OEM authorized MRO facilities (e.g., Pratt & Whitney, GE, Rolls Royce, CFM)
  • Familiarity with automation and digital solutions for process optimization
Responsibilities
  • Oversee module disassembly and assembly operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality
  • Manage workforce planning, technician scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets
  • Ensure adherence to OEM procedures, work instructions, and aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, AS9100)
  • Monitor turnaround time (TAT), first pass yield, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with engineering, quality, and planning teams to resolve challenges
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
  • Optimize layouts , tooling, and work instructions for improved performance
  • Lead process standardization, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a strong culture of safety, enforcing proper handling of engine modules, components, and hazardous material
  • Develop training programs for technicians , ensuring proper certification and competency
  • Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal compliance reviews
  • Manage budgets, cost projections, and investment plans for the Engine line and GBX shop
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engine mechanics
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
