As a Senior Manager in Monitoring & Testing, you will play a key role in supporting Westpac to manage compliance and operational risk across the Group. In this role, you will plan, lead and deliver monitoring and testing activities that assess how effectively risks are identified, managed and controlled.  You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and risk functions, demonstrating strong risk awareness across a range of risk topics. You will lead complex walkthroughs, design and execute reviews, and support the smooth and timely delivery of the risk‑based review plan. You will also challenge the effectiveness of business processes, identify control weaknesses impacting risks under review, and, drawing on your strong judgement and problem‑solving skills, provide senior management with impactful and insightful independent opinion on regulatory risk and issues to ensure concerns are addressed adequately and timely. This role suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, asking insight questions with a strong risk and control mindset, and who drives positive outcomes through effective communication and sound judgement. This is a full-time role based in Sydney, Adelaide or Melbourne, with three days in the office to connect with colleagues.   What do I need? To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong risk and testing capability, along with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders. * Broad understanding of regulatory requirement and financial services, in particular the products and services of Westpac. * Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail * High level of proficiency and consistent achievement of impactful verbal and written communication.  * Proven stakeholder engagement skills and conflict resolution * Strong sense of accountability, good time management and project management skills.   Why join us?
