• Develop, implement, and oversee the program’s quality strategy, policies, and objectives for aviation production, in collaboration with key stakeholders (including customers, engineering teams, production teams, and suppliers), ensuring alignment with BDA’s QSMS.
• Lead, mentor, and empower a team of safety and quality specialists, including managers, engineers, and inspectors, to enable and support in driving excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, open communication, and collaboration.
• Ability to pragmatically interpret program and business requirements and apply legislation, regulations, policies and procedures in a complex operating environment within production to enhance quality standards.
• Promote the reporting culture and general awareness of QSMS throughout the MQ-28 program value stream and lead by example through your commitment to safety and quality as organisational priorities.
• Translate and communicate complex concepts to stakeholder groups on quality and safety matters, trends, and analysis, so that the program and organisation understands what matters.
