Description
Senior Manager – Operational Excellence is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and overall performance within the organization. He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and champion a culture of continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence. Develop and execute operational excellence strategies that align with business goals, focusing on process optimization, quality improvement, and cost reduction. Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency. Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to analyze processes, identify root causes, and drive improvement projects across various departments. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organization. Collaborate with different departments and teams to gather insights, align strategies, and implement improvements that impact the entire organization. Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that processes, products, and services meet or exceed established standards. Lead and manage cross-functional improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within scope. Communicate progress, successes, and challenges related to operational excellence initiatives to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders. Identify innovative solutions and best practices from within and outside the industry to drive continuous improvement and stay competitive. Master or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. At least 7-10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related roles, with demonstrated experience in leading initiatives. Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and their application in process improvement. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Project management experience, including the ability to manage complex projects and deliver results. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to operational excellence.
