Qualifications

  • A four year degree with expertise in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science/analytics role within marketing technology or advertising companies
  • Expertise in technologies such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager, DSPs, ESPs, social media platforms, Google and Bing Ads, Salesforce, Hubspot, DOMO, Looker Studio, call analytics and other Martech platforms & tooling
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data visualization, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, marketing automation, and web analytics
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods, including regression techniques, and classification models
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
  • A highly collaborative, proactive, resourceful and lean-in mindse
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Senior Manager of Data & Analytics will bridge the gap between complex data analytics and effective marketing strategies for top brands. Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, this business-minded team player will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design & delivery of program data, measurement and testing strategies, and oversee Engineers on technology & dashboard needs required for program enablement. This role will work cross-functionally with internal creative, account, strategy and media team stakeholders and external clients to share data-driven insights that propel marketing initiatives, fuel business growth and make marketing investment decisioning easy.
Candidates should be effective communicators, results-oriented, solutions-driven and be able to drive insights into actions that tell a story and improve business outcomes. Business & marketing technology knowledge, data analysis and interpersonal skills are needed to thrive in this executive-facing position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement advanced analysis and testing methods, such as geo lift, A/B split, MVT testing, and other incremental experimentation to optimize marketing strategy execution
  • Analyze and interpret data across multiple marketing channels (i.e. paid search, paid social media) to provide critical insights for decision-making
  • Utilize customer segmentation, marketing optimization, propensity modeling, churn analysis, customer lifetime value analysis and customer journey analytics to refine and sharpen our marketing campaigns
  • Masterfully craft visual narratives to share insights and tell stories backed by data, statistics and making them accessible for different audiences
  • Generate comprehensive reports that encapsulate analytical findings, presenting them in a clear, concise and compelling manner
  • Coordinate data integration projects to seamlessly merge diverse data sources for comprehensive reporting
  • Develop and implement conceptual data frameworks to enable measurement strategies across project lifecycles
  • Evaluate new online and offline data opportunities, constantly seeking innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Champion innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and integrating new methodologies, tools, and approaches to deliver business results

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - 105,000 USD. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process.
