JOB TITLE: MANAGER, ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE

• DEPARTMENT: Engineering & Maintenance
• Reports to: Director, Technical
• Has management responsibility for: Engineering and Maintenance staff
  The Manager of Engineering and Maintenance is a key leadership position focusing on fostering relationships, building trust, and guiding employee growth and development. This position oversees the manufacturing facilities, engineering, and maintenance teams and directs their activities in a safe and cost-effective environment across multiple shifts. The position will operate a department with a team focused on safety, maintenance reliability, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 to 10 years-related experience and/or training in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Experienced people leader with a proven track record for fostering relationships, building trust, and guiding employee growth and development.
• Project management experience is required.
• Experience administering and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Factory Talk, etc).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams).
