    QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

    EDUCATION:

    ?Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, and School Counseling of other related field required.

    EXPERIENCE:

    Administrative, supervision and program development experience required. Minimum of two years professional experience in the substance use prevention field and knowledge of local resources and current community coalitions.
    One year of counseling and/or educational experience in a group setting with children and/or adolescents
    preferred.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Sitting in normal position for extended periods of time.
    Reaching my extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
    Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole
    hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
    Communication skills using the spoken word.
    Ability to see within normal parameters.
    Ability to hear within normal range.
    Ability to safely, frequently and independently move and handle heavy objects as needed.
    Ability to travel to facilities by various transportation means.

    Responsibilities
    1. Responsible for the coordination and supervision of prevention services, YRC and other cost reimbursement
      programs as assigned and staff to ensure quality, effective delivery of programs.
    2. Provide conceptual development of programmatic designs and assist in evaluation of program effectiveness in
      meeting objectives for programs.
    3. Supervise the compilation and submission of monthly performance measures for programs.
    4. Coordinate and/or present community prevention, education and training programs.
    5. Provide administrative supervision of prevention, YRC, other staff and other local resources to develop
      partnerships with other community agencies and manage care networks in order to promote a continuum of
      services.
    6. Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and staff to meet program needs within funding limitations.
    7. Assist in development of data collection instruments used to develop statistical information and program
      evaluation.
    8. Ensure prevention staff stay informed of any policy and regulatory changes, and update staff on changes as
      appropriate.
    9. Intervene as necessary on issues relating to complaints and concerns.
    10. Inform and educate others in prevention modalities necessary to become a Certified Prevention Specialist
      (CPS) and assist others in obtaining CPS certification.
    11. Work closely with the facility leadership team to meet the mission statement and goals of the foundation.
    12. Work with clinical executive and Human Resource Department for staffing, training, employee relations
      issues, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with Foundation policies and
      all local, state and federal laws.
    13. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor’s culture and create a positive working environment for all team
      members.
    14. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to your
      supervisor.
    15. Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job
      description.
