We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Public Affairs Office: Major Duties and Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our office as the Senior Manager of Public Affairs (Branding and Marketing). Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, the appointee will lead a Marketing Team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the University’s image, reputation and student recruitment efforts. The key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing comprehensive branding strategies to enhance the University’s image and reputation; Leading the creation and execution of impactful brand campaigns; Developing and executing marketing strategies to support student recruitment for full-time and part-time programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, local, mainland and overseas markets; Conducting regular analysis of campaign performance, market trends, marketing surveys and competitive landscape to refine strategies and execution plans; Overseeing the budgeting, planning and execution of branding and marketing initiatives; Coordinating outreach efforts and on-campus promotional activities to engage prospective students and stakeholders; Overseeing the operations of the University’s Information Centre to ensure smooth and effective service provision; and Supporting the office in event management, corporate communications and other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Public Affairs. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: A relevant recognised degree, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing, business administration or related disciplines; At least 12 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in brand management, marketing or strategic communication; A proven track record of enhancing corporate image through the planning and implementation of branding campaigns, or demonstrated success in driving business growth through effective marketing initiatives; Proficiency in social media and digital communication tools; Experience in online marketing in the Chinese Mainland and understanding of the tertiary education landscape are advantages; Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and a can-do spirit; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in effective coaching/team management; Well-organised, detail-oriented, with strong multi-tasking and time management skills; Self-motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure and independently; Willing to work outside office hours when required; and Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
