Position Overview:*
The Senior Manager for Revenue and Claims is a key operational leader within the Finance Department, responsible for overseeing billing, claims submission, and revenue tracking across approximately ten (10) diverse funding sources. This includes federal nutrition programs such as the Child Care Food Program and Summer Food (Summer BreakSpot), and the Department of Elder Affairs contract, and local government grants—each with unique reimbursement structures, billing portals, and compliance requirements.
This role supervises the Claims Team and collaborates closely with the Healthy Meals and Public Health Departments, the Grants Officer, and external funders and contract managers. The Senior Manager ensures compliance with all financial guidelines, timely claims submissions, accurate tracking, and the development of program budgets to support financial health and grant performance.

Qualifications*

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• 5+ years of financial management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or public-sector context.
• Deep knowledge of reimbursement and billing practices across multiple government and grant-funded programs.
• Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and government billing portals.
• Ability to analyze contracts, coordinate with external funders, and guide internal staff through compliance processes.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines.

SYSTEMS AND TOOLS

• Utilize and maintain data in QuickBooks Online.

KickServe and state/federal portals, including FANS, MIPs, and SAMIS.

• Ensure systems reflect real-time, accurate data to support claims processing, internal reports, and compliance.

Revenue and Claims Oversight*

• Oversee reimbursement claims across multiple funders, including federal, state, and local entities, ensuring submissions meet funder requirements and internal standards.
• Ensure understanding of and adherence to allowable cost guidelines for each contract; submit

accurate claims using correct funder portals (e.g., FANS, MIPS, SAMIS).

• Review all funding agreements and payment terms; communicate with external contract managers to clarify billing structures, eligible expenses, and funder expectations.
• Collaborate with VP of Programs and Programs staff to ensure spending aligns with funder restrictions and programs are supported to remain compliant.
