We are seeking a senior manager to lead the implementation and configuration of a to be implemented revenue management system in order to drive optimized pricing strategy, forecasting, and inventory, thereby maximizing revenue and profitability for Windstar cruise line. This role will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven revenue strategies and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. The individual will also drive analytics, data extraction, and data manipulation across multiple systems through the use of SQL and Machine Learning/Artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate brings hospitality experience, strong analytical acumen, and a passion for maximizing profitability through smart, customer-centric strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS (TEXT ONLY):

  • Master’s Degree in business administration, economics, finance, or related analytical field
  • Minimum of ten years experience in analytical role including economics, finance and revenue management
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, data management, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of developing and delivering creative and innovative solutions
  • Must possess planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills

Responsibilities
  • Implements and cross-trains revenue management personnel as part of the revenue management system implementation
  • Develops and implements effective cruise strategic pricing, revenue yield management, and inventory control strategies to ensure maximum occupancy of cruise capacity and exceed net revenue goals in conjunction with company objectives as part of the revenue management system implementation.
  • Become a subject matter expert for the implementation of new revenue management system.
  • Responsible for analysis, business case presentation, project management and revenue planning and annual budget assumptions.
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product) to identify analytical needs and deliver insights.
  • Collaborates with commercial teams and operations on demand-generating strategies as well as tactical tasks, including review of promotion materials and planning.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and machine learning. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prioritizes decisions based on potential magnitude of business benefit, rather than prioritized by departmental or selling channel.
  • Understand data trends and demonstrate the courage to extrapolate these trends to predict the future.
  • Provide an even-keeled, unbiased, and accurate assessment of rapidly changing data and information.
