We are looking for an individual with experience leading people and culture teams working collaboratively across the organisation to enhance organisational inclusiveness, effectiveness, and who is culturally effective. The role includes management of the Aboriginal Employment Unit and the Training and Development teams. The team supports leaders and staff across the organisation and works closely with cultural leads to embed cultural responsiveness and strengthen a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate at a high level, form positive working relationships, and drive organisational capacity, problem solving and the development of strategy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Manager People and Workplace Culture will lead the coordination of Congress’ workforce development functions to build an inclusive, effective, and culturally effective workplace. The position works closely with cultural leads and oversees Training & Development and the Aboriginal Employment Unit to support Aboriginal workforce participation and strengthen leadership capability, staff development, and organisational culture across all parts of Congress.
