  • Proven leadership in DEI strategy design and implementation, with a track record of influencing organisational culture.
  • Expertise in learning programme design, instructional methodologies, and leadership development.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly in mission-driven, global organisations.
  • Experience coaching and managing multicultural teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on programme execution.
  • Familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven approaches to measuring impact.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to craft compelling narratives and build consensus.
  • Commitment to Wikimedia’s values and the free knowledge movement.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the People Growth & Belonging strategy, aligning with Wikimedia’s mission and organizational priorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop part of the PGB team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Oversee the Engagement & Inclusion Survey, ensuring data informs people strategies.
  • Drive evidence-based DEI strategy and oversee key initiatives, including constructive dialogue spaces, racial equity commitments, and global inclusion efforts.
  • Support and advise Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Champion inclusive leadership development, equipping managers with tools to foster anti-discrimination and equity in decision-making.
  • Oversee some L&D programmes, ensuring access to upskilling and career development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, Recruiting, and People Ops to embed DEI and L&D principles into talent acquisition, management, onboarding, and engagement strategies.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging, contributing to organisational development.
