JOB DESCRIPTION

This role requires individual to work onsite 5 days per week; currently remote options are not available
The Sr. Manager, PMO and Project Management, is accountable for overall governance and execution of the project management office. The Sr. Manager must possess a strong understanding of project management best practice along with strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills. This role will manage a team of project managers to drive improvements and consistency in the project management process for the site including standardization, governance and metric tracking. This role must interact and influence at all levels of the organization while working with stakeholders, driving change, support transformation, mitigate risks and resource constraints. Projects range across but not limit to manufacturing, quality, systems, and business processes. Build and manage capacity tool to help manage and forecast resource allocation and negotiate new projects intake.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred disciplines: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management.
  • 6-10 years business experience, preferably in a regulated environment. Direct people management experience.
  • Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred.
  • Financial acumen and ability to assess project return on investment.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES (INCLUDES LICENSES, CREDENTIALS)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
  • Influence leadership, project management team and peers while working alongside and achieving the common goals and objectives.
  • Well-organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects and dealing with change priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.
  • Enthusiastic manager with strong drive to build professional project management team while creating positive, open, transparent and fun work environment
