POSITION OVERVIEW

A leading multinational organization is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager (HoD) to lead its Power & Renewables division across UAE. This strategic leadership role is based in Abu Dhabi and offers the opportunity to drive regional business growth, manage cross-functional teams, and oversee complex, high-value projects in a dynamic and expanding sector.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Finance, or Commercial disciplines).
  • 10+ years of experience in the Power and Renewables sector, with strong knowledge of the GCC market.
  • 5+ years in business development and strategic client management roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing large bids in the Power/Renewables sector.
  • 5+ years in operational leadership, including managing large cross-functional teams and HR/commercial functions.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing multi-million USD P&Ls.
  • Prior experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry or within a multinational environment is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Business Growth: Lead business development activities, expand the client portfolio, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction across the region.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and guide a team of 30+ professionals spanning operations, HR, and commercial functions.
  • Strategic Delivery: Oversee major projects, tenders, and long-term business strategies to ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, drive pricing and commercial strategies, and lead tender review processes.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and grow a multi-million USD P&L, with a strong focus on profitability and performance.
  • Operational Excellence: Champion efficient, high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the business unit.
