We are seeking a highly strategic individual with experience in a similar role to join our Head Office team as our Senior Manager, Pricing & Revenue Optimisation to lead our National team.

Responsibilities:
MORE ABOUT THIS ROLE:
A highly visible and business critical role that will lead a dynamic team, ensuring delivery of accurate costings and pricing of airline menus. This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of company pricing strategies, as well as identifying target markets and reviewing customer trends to help determine the need for new products or services.
IN A NUTSHELL, YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
- Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and execute pricing actions to enhance profitability across our customer portfolios
- Understand causation and effect in relation to business pricing decisions, including external influence from both micro and macro economic and institutional factors
- Ensure continuous review and ongoing work on customer pricing files
- Management and leadership of a national multi-site team, ensuring you have the ability to assist with queries, problem solving and adequate resource requirements
- Communicate regularly with your team on any changes or customer related issues
- Schedule formal and informal catch ups with your team for feedback, mentoring and talent development opportunities
- Governance of data accuracy, data integrity and security of sensitive information
- Assist with pricing negotiations of customers’ proposals and tenders
- Deliver ERP Pricing & Systems Strategy
- Maintain up to date costing templates, formulas, and input of rates and overheads
- Accountable for the accurate documentation of customer costing & pricing in line with the customer requirements and dnata frameworks
- Update and maintain customer CPI requirements and documentation in line with the annual scheduling timelines
- Oversee all methodologies and approach to pricing and revenue analysis
- Work closely with the Menu Planning & ERP systems team
- Support the Chief Commercial Officer with forecasting and planning initiatives to achieve overall budgeted goals
- Partner with key internal stakeholders and decision makers, including Heads of Procurement, Culinary, Operations, Finance, and the Commercial Team to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?
- Demonstrated track record of success in a previous Pricing Manager or Revenue Manager or similar role
- Post Graduate qualifications is highly desirable
- Extensive ERP Systems knowledge (ideally Oracle based product)
- Strong Financial acumen including extensive experience in building financial models and analyzing data sets
- Strong Commercial mindset, ability to think big picture
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with working with BI tools such as Python and Power BI
- Experience in Commercial food production or manufacturing industry is desired
- Team player with strong leadership and project management capability
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
