The role provides enterprise-wide process visibility, identifies gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and converts insights into tangible outcomes including standardization, optimization, digitization, automation (RPA), and AI enablement. Designation: Senior Manager – Process Excellence Base Location: Ghansoli Reporting to: DGM Key Role Responsibilities: 1. End-to-End Process Mining & Mapping * Lead enterprise-wide process mining and E2E process mapping across Marine Services (Operations, Finance, Commercial, Support). * Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to map L4/L5 processes, value streams, and future-state designs. * Ensure processes are documented with volume, frequency, effort, exception, and system touchpoints.   2. Gap Identification & Root Cause Analysis * Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, rework loops, control weaknesses, and system breaks. * Conduct structured root cause analysis using Lean Six Sigma tools. * Quantify business impact (cost, time, risk, service).   3. Executive Insight & Recommendations * Translate complex process findings into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership. * Present solution options with clear trade-offs and benefits.   4. Outcome-Led Transformation Enablement * Drive outcomes emerging from process mining, including: * Standardization & simplification * Process optimization * System improvements & integrations * Digitization initiatives * Micro & macro automation (RPA) * AI-led interventions * Partner closely with Automation, IT, Digital, and Data teams.   5. Process Governance, SOP & RACI Ownership * Own the process governance framework for Marine Services. * Ensure every mapped process has approved SOPs, RACIs, control points, and escalation paths. * Maintain version control, audit readiness, and change governance.   6. Lean Six Sigma & CI Leadership * Apply Black Belt / Master Black Belt expertise to lead DMAIC / DMADV initiatives. * Institutionalize continuous improvement practices across the organization.   7. Technology & Tool Enablement * Leverage market-leading process mining and mapping tools to accelerate diagnostics. * Evaluate and recommend technology platforms supporting process excellence.   8. Team Leadership * Lead and mentor a small, high-impact team (2 direct reports). * Build internal capability in process mining and structured problem-solving.   9. Stakeholder Management * Act as a trusted partner to Front Office, Operations, Finance, and Leadership. * Support centralization, transition, and migration initiatives.   10. Performance & Governance Reporting * Define process KPIs, maturity models, and governance dashboards. * Track realization of benefits from transformation initiatives.   Skills & Competencies:  * Deep expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt mandatory; Master Black Belt preferred). * Strong experience in process mining, E2E process documentation, and value stream mapping. * Proven ability to convert diagnostics into multi-dimensional transformation outcomes. * Strong understanding of systems, automation, RPA, and AI enablement. * Executive-level communication and storytelling skills. * Experience working in shared services / complex operational environments Process Excellence & Mining Expertise * 10–15 years of experience in Process Excellence / Transformation. * Minimum 5–7 years hands-on experience in process mining and deep process documentation. Technology & Automation Orientation * Strong understanding of automation, RPA, system integrations, and AI use cases. * Ability to identify automation opportunities from process diagnostics. Analytical & Problem-Solving * Strong root-cause analysis and data-driven decision-making skills. Leadership & Influence * Ability to influence senior leadership through structured insights. * Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building frameworks from scratch.   Education & Qualifications:    Essential * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Mandatory) * Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Engineers are also welcome to apply) * Process Excellence & Mining Expertise * 10–15 years of experience in Process Excellence / Transformation. * Minimum 5–7 years hands-on experience in process mining and deep process documentation. * Technology & Automation Orientation * Strong understanding of automation, RPA, system integrations, and AI use cases. * Ability to identify automation opportunities from process diagnostics. * Analytical & Problem-Solving * Strong root-cause analysis and data-driven decision-making skills. * Leadership & Influence * Ability to influence senior leadership through structured insights. * Comfortable operating with ambiguity and building frameworks from scratch   Desirable * Master Black Belt * PG/MBA in Logistics preferred  * A background in logistics/shipping education along with a minimum of 2- 5 yrs of work experience in shipping and logistics.   DP World is committed to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
