SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Product Marketing for Structures, Fluids and 3D Design is responsible for leading the development and execution of all internal and external positioning and messaging and supporting associated marketing activities, including Foundational and Big C campaign activities for the Structures, Fluids and 3D Design product collections. This individual will manage a team of product marketing managers, guiding the creation of messaging, GTM strategy, sales readiness materials and marketing assets and tactics across a multi-product portfolio, while supporting the growth and revenue goals for the business and product/solution programs. This includes leading the development of product messaging, content strategy, foundational marketing content and sales enablement content, as well as maintaining the external strategic co-marketing partnerships required by the business. The developed strategy should reflect an understanding of key industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities. Success will be defined by effective program and campaign execution across the team that results in significant pipeline and revenue growth. This individual will work closely with key marketing and product management leadership, product marketing and industry marketing leadership, along with customer success (ACE), sales and R&D leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years leading a team of diverse and talented individuals in a marketing capacity
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of simulation-based engineering
  • Broad functional expertise across several marketing competencies (Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Solution Marketing)
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects while guiding and executing on global technology-led marketing initiatives
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters or other advanced degree in Marketing or Engineering with previous experience in product marketing
  • Working knowledge of several areas of Marketing including Field, Digital, Social, ABM
  • Experience in simulation-based engineering-related software domains
  • Experience supporting global B2B and B2C demand generation campaigns

Responsibilities
  • Oversees and guides the benefit-based messaging for a significant portion of the Ansys product portfolio to prospective customers, existing customers, and partners.
  • Leads the creation of positioning and messaging documents, marketing plans and demand generation activities targeting the global engineering audience in alignment with business growth objectives and key priorities.
  • Executes on bi-annual product launches to expose new capabilities and workflows.
  • Drives execution of organic technology-led promotion across social media, third party websites, blogs, and other digital mediums to build awareness and engagement and drive demand with targeted personas
  • Reports on results from all marketing and sales engagement activities across the team to measure success against business goals
  • Partners with the Ansys corporate marketing leadership and industry marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive new business as well as up-sell/cross-sell opportunities for both direct and indirect sales channels
  • Enhances and extends current processes to streamline business activities and explores new ways of doing things.
