We are seeking a dynamic IPT Lead / Value Stream Leader (VSL) to manage the tactical execution and development of the Mission Intercom and Automatic Patch & Test System (APTS) products. This role leads a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), driving technical excellence and delivering solutions critical to NC3 voice capabilities. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering depth, a strategic mindset, and operational discipline to manage a front-loaded development phase with high customer visibility.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years leadership experience managing differing contract types in all phases of the program life cycle
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Experience in risk assessment (both operational and Programmatic), risk mitigation, cost account estimation, cost management, schedule management, and on-contract growth
  • Experience with leading a multi-functional team from proposal generation through contract award / completion including experience managing cost, schedule and technical aspects of a program as well direct experience with complex customers
  • Must have strong earned value management (EVM) experience, including baseline planning, performance measurement, and variance analysis

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as the day-to-day leader of the engineering-heavy IPT, focused on early-phase development of the Mission Intercom and APTS systems
  • Manage team execution across hardware, software, systems, and test disciplines, ensuring delivery to cost, schedule, and technical objectives
  • Own and facilitate internal team cadences; communicate clear expectations in both written and verbal formats
  • Act as primary interface with the customer for IPT-related activities and updates
  • Collaborate across portfolio to ensure alignment with broader NC3 Voice initiatives and secure intercom products
  • Lead a mid-sized team and coordinate closely with all functions (engineering, supply chain, and operations, finance, scheduling)
