We are seeking an aspiring, self-motivated, and collaborative Senior Manager, Project Controls, to join our team of experts committed to leading projects and building relationships across the country. Responsibilities Provide leadership and mentorship to the Business Unit staff, including developing standards, delivering training, and identifying internal expertise. Provide leadership and mentorship on your projects, including delivering training, leading project meetings, solving complex challenges, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring every project stays on track and delivers results. Act as a trusted partner, applying your expertise in project controls to help our clients to navigate the complexities of capital projects, delivering results that align with their vision. Build lasting relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and relationship manager for key clients, nurturing partnerships that drive mutual success. Be accountable for client satisfaction and embrace a client-centric attitude. Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice President. Work with and advise a variety of client groups in both the public and private sectors, including local authorities, provincial government, federal government, agencies, and private sector clients. Support the Principal(s) and/or Regional Vice President in performance management and recruitment activities to ensure the team is performing optimally and accomplishing its goals. Establish a presence in the Colliers community (local and online). Qualifications A minimum of six years of experience leading a team of project controllers (or other practitioners) in the delivery of professional services. Previous experience and aptitude in a leadership or people management role, providing oversight to a multidisciplinary team. A university degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, finance, engineering, architecture, construction management, or comparable degree (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience). Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client, project and technical issues. Strong knowledge of all project controls disciplines, various project management models, financial management, and relevant standards. A strong desire to grow the business presence in the project controls space and expand the team to meet company growth targets. Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition strategies. Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, RA, or similar industry-recognized designation is considered a strong asset. Preference for candidates with Transit industry experience. Experience building and nurturing long-term client relationships is considered a strong asset.
