Job Description Position Title: Senior Manager – QA/QC Function: Quality Assurance & Quality Control Location: Head Office (Pan‑India Responsibility) Reporting To: Head – QA/QC (HO) Employment Type: Full‑Time Purpose of the Role The Senior Manager – QA/QC (Head Office) is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control framework across all construction projects on a Pan‑India basis. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, specifications, internal standards, and industry best practices, while driving continuous improvement in quality systems, processes, and outcomes.  Key Responsibilities 1. Develop, standardize, and periodically review QA/QC Manuals, SOPs, Checklists, and Procedures across the pan-India projects.  2. Review and approve Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures. 3. Review and support Head-QA/QC to evaluate material or system approvals for projects. Propose new alternative materials or systems as part of value engineering initiative.  4. Lead internal, external, and third‑party audits and evaluate team performance by assessing Quality Score. Follow-up and ensure timely closure of quality related Observations and Non‑Conformities. 5. Support Head-QA/QC to Identify quality risks / issues and implement preventive & corrective actions.  6. Support Head-QA/QC to review BOQ & Technical Specification to ensure that adequate quality requirements are captured for tendering new packages.  7. Provide functional guidance to Project and QA/QC teams, conduct training programs across all projects. Supports team to identify and implement industry best practices.  8. Coordinate with consultants, testing agencies and certification bodies as required. 9. Review and consolidate quality reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review. Track NCR trends, quality KPIs, Quality Scores and audit outcomes across projects. 10. Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and record management as per internal and external requirements. Qualifications & Experience * BE/BTech in Civil with 10 years (Or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 13 years) of overall relevant experience in QA/QC function. * Professional Certifications like ISO 9001 Auditor or any other relevant certification are preferred. * Proven experience in handling QA/QC functions for large / multiple projects is desired.  Key Competencies & Skills * Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, standards, and auditing practices. * Adept In construction activities, procedures and methodologies. * Effective communication, presentation, and report‑writing skills. * Good analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. * Willingness to travel across project locations in India.
