  • Product Delivery Quality Management: In close collaboration with projects managers, develop projects quality plans, oversee quality planning, control, and assurance activities across multiple product deliveries simultaneously for Venture One Commercial Services, from inception to completion, ensuring conformance of processes and deliverables, and successful outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams, including product owners, developers, manufacturing engineers to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Risk & Nonconformance Management: Identify potential quality risks, drive root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risk and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Supplier & Vendor Quality: Establish and monitor quality requirements with external vendors, contract manufacturers, and technology partners, including supplier audits and qualification processes.
  • Audits & Compliance: Plan and conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define and track quality KPIs (e.g., defect rates, CAPA closure, customer complaints), and report on quality performance to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a supportive and quality-driven community.
  • Training & Culture: Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to build organizational awareness and capability around quality standards and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or similar).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in quality management in an innovation and/or industry environment.
  • Proven track record leading and implementing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, including successful certification/recertification audits.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) strongly preferred; ASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, CMQ/OE) a plus.
  • Proven experience taking products from prototype to industrial-scale production while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, quality systems, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience working with external vendors, contract manufacturers, and technology partners on quality requirements and audits.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
