Primary Duties & Responsibilities * The candidate is Responsible for the leadership, development and direction of the individual quality team involving in material related issue, process control and customer quality support etc. * Expect the candidate to bring excellent quality management version and methodology for new product quality and production quality, also drive more continuous improvement projects. Education & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, prefer major in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Automation, Physics. * Advanced educational qualifications will be a plus. * 10+ years of quality experience with significant level. * 5+ years managerial/leadership experience. * Lead and drive continuous improvement project. * Global site work experience is a plus. Skills * Ensure self and others accountability to meet the commitment. * Ability to develop people’s talent to meet career goals and team goals. * Skilled in conflict management. * Building strong effective team to apply their diverse skills and ideas to meet the common goal. * Skilled in quality process management (Audit, SPC, LEAN, GRR etc.). * Experience on new project verification, PPAP, APQP. * Problem solving by using systematic analysis tools like PDCA,8D, DMAIC. * Leadership in decision making and removing barriers in problem solving. * Understand quality system and familiar with ISO9001 or IATF16949. * Strong target driven, reliable and dependable, professional quality knowledge and sense of quality. * Good communication to make whole team work together. * Risk assessment ability to make decisions for touch cases. Working Conditions * Working conditions typical of a climate controlled and professional office environment. * This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
