Description Senior Manager, Real Estate Website: https://specialtydentalbrands.com Hybrid | 3 days in office / 2 days remote At Specialty Dental Brands, we support a rapidly growing network of specialty dental practices across the country. As our footprint expands, so does the complexity of our real estate portfolio. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Real Estate to provide strategic oversight of our lease management function while serving as the key internal liaison between our practices, landlords, legal, finance, and our external brokerage partner. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role for a professional who excels in commercial lease management and can serve as a trusted internal expert supporting our operations teams and practice leaders across our established real estate portfolio. What You’ll Do Own and oversee the lease management function across all leased properties Maintain and manage the company’s lease database/system of record-LeaseQuery Track and administer lease terms including rent payments, escalations, CAM reconciliations, renewals, expirations, and critical dates Audit existing leases within the first 90 days to identify risks, opportunities, and upcoming actions Serve as the internal expert answering Operations’ questions regarding lease terms and responsibilities Partner closely with Legal at lease inception and throughout the lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual obligations Act as the primary liaison between practice locations and landlords/property managers to resolve lease issues Review and approve rent payments, landlord invoices, and escalations Develop occupancy cost estimates and support budgeting and forecasting for lease-related financial commitments Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve space utilization, and explore subleasing opportunities where applicable Standardize procedures for lease setup, tracking, reporting, and documentation Partner with an external brokerage firm to support site selection, market analysis, and lease negotiations Lead and manage the relationship with our brokerage partner Requirements What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 5–7+ years of experience in commercial lease administration or corporate real estate management Strong understanding of commercial lease structures and obligations Experience managing multi-location real estate portfolios preferred Proficiency with lease administration systems (LeaseQuery strongly preferred) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operations leaders, landlords, and external partners Experience partnering with brokerage firms and leading those relationships Benefits At Specialty Dental Brands, we invest in our team members with a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off (PTO) If you are someone who loves bringing clarity to complexity, building systems that scale, and being the go-to expert for commercial lease management, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at a growing organization!
