Your New Role Reporting to the Principal, Enterprise Platforms, the Senior Manager – Finance and Regulatory Technology plays a critical role enabling the Fund to meet the finance, regulatory and technology challenges through strong domain knowledge, technology-enabled capability uplift and robust governance. This position partners with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Investment Operations, Product and external services to: Lead the delivery of the Finance and Regulatory Reporting technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Fund’s strategic objectives. Provide domain expertise on APRA, ASIC and other regulatory reporting obligations, ensuring system capabilities and processes meet regulatory expectations. Manage technology change across Finance systems including Oracle, SolveXia, APRA SDT, ESG extensions, and internalised reporting models. Serve as primary Finance representative across enterprise change forums, ensuring downstream Finance impacts are understood, prioritised and managed. Act as a strategic advisor to Finance leaders on technology impacts, risks, and optimisation opportunities. Ensure operational readiness, compliance alignment, and proactive change management across Finance technology platforms. Coordinate and govern regulatory technology initiatives across the Fund, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Roadmap and industry best practice. The role requires strong business integration capability, deep regulatory and Finance domain expertise, and demonstrated leadership delivering sustainable process and technology change. The role will work across the Fund to ensure that the solutions delivered are globally fit for purpose and in line with strategic objectives. What You’ll Need 10+ years’ senior experience in Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services capability uplift roles. Strong experience leading or delivering regulatory change programs (APRA, ASIC, financial statements, prudential reporting). Highly developed leadership and people‑management experience, including building high‑performing and sustainable teams. Knowledge of the superannuation, wealth management and investment industries. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage cross‑functional programs of work. Deep experience in process optimisation, finance systems, and automation opportunities. Demonstrated experience with outsourced providers, regulatory change delivery, and vendor relationship management. Experience working with regulated environments and strong understanding of governance and regulatory obligations. Strong analytical, problem‑solving and strategic planning capability. Critical thinker with the ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis. Advanced stakeholder engagement capability, with strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to translate complex or technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. Resilient, engaging and effective at motivating teams to deliver high performance.
