The Role: We have an exciting newly created position to lead operational excellence and grow impact and reach in delivering residential men’s behaviour change programs. Communicare are looking for a Senior Manager Residential Mens Behaviour Change to join our dynamic residential men’s behaviour change team on a full-time permanent capacity in our Cannington office, with travel across metro and regional WA required. This role leads residential programs for men using family violence, ensuring safe, structured, and therapeutic interventions that promote accountability and positive behaviour change. The Senior Manager Residential Mens Behaviour Change is responsible for the effective delivery of contracted service programs through strong leadership of service teams. The role ensures services are delivered to contract, meet quality and safety standards, and achieve positive outcomes for clients and communities. The role supports the development and ongoing strengthening of program logics, the expansion of existing services and the identification and procuring of new business opportunities, including proposal and tender submissions. Your responsibilities include: Lead and contribute to tender and grant submissions, ensuring proposals are strategically positioned, evidence-informed, and aligned with funding requirements, organisational capabilities, and long-term service objectives. Provide high level advice and guidance to stakeholders on aspects relating to residential programs for men using family violence, ensuring safe, structured, and therapeutic interventions that promote accountability and positive behaviour change Lead and build a high-performance culture, by providing support, supervision and effective role modelling of behaviours that exemplifies values-based leadership. Oversee end-to-end program delivery with a focus on compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. Lead incident management, crisis response, and behavioural complexity management in line with organisational policy and clinical governance standards. Ensure safe 24/7 residential operations, duty of care and safeguarding standards are adhered to. Your Experience You are a passionate individual, keen to make a positive impact in the community to keep women and children safe from harm. You’ll hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a human services field. In addition, your experience will reflect: Residential Services Expertise: Experience managing residential or 24/7 environments, including safeguarding, crisis response, and trauma-informed care. Leadership in Service Delivery: A proven ability to manage teams across the community services sector, fostering collaboration and high performance. Stakeholder engagement and advocacy: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while championing principles of harm minimisation, social justice, and ethical practice. Contract Management: Strong track record in contract management and compliance, with an eye for continuous improvements. Operational and strategic capability: Financial and risk management skills with proven experience in budget management, financial oversight coupled with strong financial acumen with ability to analyse and evaluate information, identify issues and develop or approve appropriate solutions.
