This role actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The incumbent must be knowledgeable in the treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular disorders for inpatients and outpatients, guided by both departmental and hospital policies and procedures related to the field of Cardiopulmonary science. This position functions independently within the critical care areas of the hospital and will be required to assume relief responsibilities in the absence of the Director. The value you’ll bring to the team: Manages daily operations and maintains department budgets. Manages the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of staff and analysts. Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and level-of-detail of staff work product. Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals. Evaluates new equipment and procedures. Oversees campus operational budgets, equipment acquisition, and metric reviews. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or cardiopulmonary science Respiratory leadership experience 5+ years of respiratory clinical experience Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
