Senior Manager Risk & Compliance Transformation & Customer Operations (TCO) Mō te tūranga | About the Role Westpac New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Risk & Compliance to join our Transformation and Customer Operations business. Reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance, this senior role plays a meaningful part in supporting executive leaders and the wider leadership team to drive effective risk management and informed, risk‑based decision making. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality risk, compliance and governance services and for strengthening risk culture across a complex operational environment. This role has a strong focus on international operations, including payments, treasury and market operations, and will see you working closely with senior stakeholders to proactively manage risk profiles, regulatory obligations and operational resilience. We support flexible ways of working and understand that balance matters. This role follows a hybrid working model, with three to four days per week in the office to support connection and collaboration, and the flexibility to work from home one to two days per week. You will: Lead first line risk, compliance, conduct and regulatory activities across transformation and customer operations Provide expert advice on complex risk and compliance matters, including operational resilience, business continuity planning and regulatory requirements Deliver effective risk governance through leadership forums, committees and risk reporting Actively manage and maintain business risk profiles, registers and control environments Oversee control testing, incident management and remediation of issues and findings Partner closely with second line risk and compliance teams and key business stakeholders Drive improvements in risk culture and risk maturity across the organisation through education, engagement and practical risk management solutions Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
